In banks, when there is a lot of money(in the safe) there are some stacks of money which have colour packs in them and blow up spraying color everywhere so you can easily see who had the money. Now imagine this technology on a bike lock. Basically when you try to cut it it explodes leaving a permanent ink on anything near it. It wont stop people from stealing your bike, but it would mess up thier gear!
