Today people all around the world are going to recycle the water bottle they usually throw away, they will walk to the corner store instead of taking their car, they will cook with organic vegetables instead of the ones which use pesticides; just because it is earth day. I love the earth, and thank god that he gave it to us. But just because it is earth day people that didn't give a crap yesterday are going to be environmentally friendly today. Basically what I'm trying to say is just because today is labeled 'earth day' we don't need to act different just for today, we need to change our habits for our whole lifestyle. Its easy to say but hard to do, small changes like sorting your trash, unplugging things that you are not using, shorter showers, CFL lighting, and many other small things will help. We have all got to try, if not for ourselves, or for anyone else for the earth. So it isn't earth day it is earth year, or better yet earth life.
