Toronto

So the reason I didn't blog on Tuesday is because I was in Toronto for the day and when I came back I had no energy at all! I was there initially for a tour around Ryerson, the university was really nice and the programs fit me well but the tour was corny. So after the tour we (Ricky + I) met up with my cousin and grabbed some food to stuff our face with as we listened to his messed up stories. Then we headed over to the spadina/richmond area and hit the stores. I was quite surprised at how some people actually knew about the avanti blog! We hit up livestock first and started talking with Los (real cool dude) and he was like yeah your blog is good just need to get more people to it! I was like wow, this guy knows about our blog! We slid over to adrift which had some sick decks (check them out!)

Then we hit up the whole nomad, goodfoot, stussy and ransom building. We went to GoodFoot first where we met up with Photo will. He is one of the most chilled out guys, I told him who I was and he knew about the blog too! So we started talking and I told him how the line is releasing this summer and asked him if he could do the lookbook. He said yeah, so the summer '09 lookbook will probably be done by T.O's best photographer; photo will!
Then we ran up to Ransom. I looked over at the counter, and the dude looked kind of familiar. He was from the lookbook with drake (check image #3,6). He was really cool too, and we started talking bout how Drake is blowing up. And he was like how drake is a really cool dude, then i picked up a UNDFTD shirt from thier spring collection.
Then hopped over to stussy and got a limited edition Stussy toronto 2008 chapter store tee! I was so gassed! Then got a Nike sportswear fitted, from the flagship store on queen. Then we headed back to union and bussed it back home to BRAMPTON! It was a good day. -Vaiz

Updates

Yes this is another one of those sorry excuses of a post where I tell you that I can't update for a while. This week is VERY crammed and I need to do well this week. So because of all this, I can't post until friday afternoon. But I know you guys want some cool stuff so check out my twitter. I will be posting stuff, and my normal tweets so you guys will get a 'mini blog' experience. Sorry if any of you are very disappointed by this! But check the twitter, and if you don't have one MAKE ONE! It is really cool, and addictive. So once again, see you on Friday afternoon!

Ok,
So I promised I would update, I have all the material to post just not the time to post it! I feel like total crap right now; my laptop is chipping, the screen is scratched and pixels are dying, I LOST MY CAMERA!, I feel sick (nose is running like a Maserati), and I have a CRAP load of homework! I have a Grade 12 university course so I can't fall behind, and I am because I did not do any work yesterday! (damn, looking good for semi has some down sides!) Well, Because of all those reasons, I did not post today! I want to, Posting is like a drug for me! I need hits, I feel like if i do not post I am letting you guys down. But, most of you guys are students or have been students and know that sometimes school comes first. I focus on what needs to be focused on, sometimes avanti and sometimes school the rest of the time is focusing on chyling! Ok, I have spent too much time writing this, I have to get back to math now! See you guys tom! I will try my hardest to post! Keep checking back for tom, I will be posting through the day!

Twitter!

Twitter is awesome, It is like the blog but in 140 characters or less. I post a lot of things on twitter, that you may not see on the blog. Its a great way to get into the company, we post small things that are significant but not really blog material. If you do not have twitter make one! Then you can use things like twitterfeed, or tweetr (MAC), your celly, or the website to update and check out what is happening. Its like MSN but with all of your friends. Check ours out, and enjoy.
