Ransom | Spring/Summer '10 Preview

This is the preview from Ransom for their Spring/Summer 2010 line. The preview has two main aspects, the letterman jackets and the plaid. You can see the plaid on the insides of the pants and on the shirts. Overall the preview looks good but doesn't give too much away, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Valley Lo | Ransom by Adidas Originals

We have showed you a few of the shoes from the Adidas originals and ransom collection before. And now we have another shoe to show you from the collection. This is the Valley lo. The tops are made with a nylon material, it is shown in red but will be available in black as well. There isn't too much more information on the collection other then it having both shoes and clothing. I'm definitely keeping a close eye on this collaboration.

Ransom | Spring/Summer Caps

We have a preview for two caps from the Ransom Spring/Summer collection. The first is a ransom flag cap which has ransom written on the front, and a flag coming out of the 'N'.The cap comes in 3 colours; black, purple and red. It also has the ransom swords and stars logo at the back.

The second cap is a very simple design. The caps are totally canvas with the ransom block logo embroidered on the back in the same colour as the cap. This cap comes in 6 different colours; Black, blue, burgundy, white, orange/pink and a teal.

They aren't on the online store, yet.

Ransom by Adidas Original | The 'Creek'

We showed you guys the first of the previews from the Ransom by Adidas Original collaboration. And now we have another preview on the second shoe from the collection titled 'The creek' It is also a hightop boot which comes in a beige suede with some red accents on the midsole. It says that they will be coming out soon but there is no more information.

Ransom by Adidas Originals | Preview

Ransom has just teamed up with Adidas to release some preview pictures on thier new collaborative boot. We can only see one colour way which is the black leather. The laces are real cool, because they are raw leather laces. In one of the pictures it says "Ransom Holding Co. and Adidas Originals present season one of an ongoing collaboration. Footwear crafted to withstand a rugged lifestyle and designed to stand the test of time. Made for individuals in constant motion, continuously searching for a life well led and a good story to tell." There is no information on the release date or the price yet. Check it out:




UPDATE APRIL 23
There are some pictures on a new Grey colourway, but they are in suede not in leather. One other thing that has changed is the blue mid-sole and the red accents. The laces are also different, they aren't the raw leather ones anymore but just regular laces. Check them out:

I know I am a little late, but better then never. Ransom's collections have always been strong and have featured some real solid pieces. You can get it at Ransom downtown, or on thier newly launched online store. Check the lookbook:

Toronto

So the reason I didn't blog on Tuesday is because I was in Toronto for the day and when I came back I had no energy at all! I was there initially for a tour around Ryerson, the university was really nice and the programs fit me well but the tour was corny. So after the tour we (Ricky + I) met up with my cousin and grabbed some food to stuff our face with as we listened to his messed up stories. Then we headed over to the spadina/richmond area and hit the stores. I was quite surprised at how some people actually knew about the avanti blog! We hit up livestock first and started talking with Los (real cool dude) and he was like yeah your blog is good just need to get more people to it! I was like wow, this guy knows about our blog! We slid over to adrift which had some sick decks (check them out!)

Then we hit up the whole nomad, goodfoot, stussy and ransom building. We went to GoodFoot first where we met up with Photo will. He is one of the most chilled out guys, I told him who I was and he knew about the blog too! So we started talking and I told him how the line is releasing this summer and asked him if he could do the lookbook. He said yeah, so the summer '09 lookbook will probably be done by T.O's best photographer; photo will!
Then we ran up to Ransom. I looked over at the counter, and the dude looked kind of familiar. He was from the lookbook with drake (check image #3,6). He was really cool too, and we started talking bout how Drake is blowing up. And he was like how drake is a really cool dude, then i picked up a UNDFTD shirt from thier spring collection.
Then hopped over to stussy and got a limited edition Stussy toronto 2008 chapter store tee! I was so gassed! Then got a Nike sportswear fitted, from the flagship store on queen. Then we headed back to union and bussed it back home to BRAMPTON! It was a good day. -Vaiz
